Mario and Co are back again for the follow up to Mario Smash Football (Nintendo Game Cube). Each team consists of one of 12 captains with three of eight sidekicks who compete in many different types of gameplay. Like always anything goes in Mario Strikers Charged. Featuring many power-ups and special abilities players do anything they can to get that goal. Each captain has his or her own set of skills and super powers, they have the ability to perform mega strikes which are special shots, where the iron ball splits into five balls and flies at the goal. The opposition must shoot these balls out of the air by using the wii remote to target, aim and shoot before the goal is scored. Like other Mario games such as Mario Kart each of the stadiums in Mario Strikers Charged has various characteristics and contraptions, which change the way the game is played. You must use these to your advantage to win.
